Subperiosteal implants consist of a metal frame placed on the jawbone. The metal plate is placed underneath the gum, which remains fixed as the gum heals. The frame has several posts attached that stick out from the gums. These posts provide the perfect location to place artificial teeth. Subperiosteal implants are perfect for those who are unable to wear conventional dentures.

Full Set

All on 4 dental implant treatments are perfect for those who need replacements for all of their teeth. They provide a stable foundation for a full-arch prosthesis using 4 implants. Our dental team will place and insert 4 implant roots and then make a bridge to go on the implants. All this done chair-side, at our Lakeway area office, with an on-site lab technician.

Dental Implant Process

Step01

Free Consultation

First, sign up for a free consultation so you can know your options. Are dental implants the best way to go, or is there another procedure that’s best for your mouth and smile? Our free consultation will let you make the best decision for your smile.

Step02

3D X-ray

As part of your free consultation, we’ll provide you with an x-ray from our innovative iCAT 3-D X-ray machine. X-rays from our iCAT machine are typically a $550 value, provided to you for free.

Step03

Implant Surgery

If deemed appropriate, we’ll move forward with scheduling the dental implant surgery. This process is usually done on a tooth by tooth basis, with ample time in between the actual post-implant, and the final crown placement.

Step04

Post-Op

Once the implant has properly healed and fused to the jaw bone, we’ll place the final crown that will last for life if given the proper care. If you need another dental implant, we’ll repeat the process for the other teeth that need attention.
